Position Summary:
Join a fast-growing team at a top-tier residential move management company serving the Greater Boston area.
The Team Leader plays a dual role in managing both client relationships and on-site working teams to ensure successful Move Management execution. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to meet client expectations while supporting and guiding team members in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Exceptional communication in conveying information clearly, actively listening to customers, and interacting with diplomacy and tact.
Understand client goals and ensure project plans align with the moving project.
Communicate project timelines, updates, and changes effectively.
Address client concerns promptly and implement appropriate solutions.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients from start to finish.
Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise on-site team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
Assign roles and responsibilities based on individual strengths and project needs.
Provide clear direction, training, and support to team members.
Monitor performance and encourage a positive, productive team environment.
Foster a positive, motivated team culture focused on excellence, learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in client-facing environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both with clients and team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
Reliable transportation for travel to client sites as required.
Proficiency with basic technology (email, scheduling tools, mobile apps).
Move Managers provide a great client experience by demonstrating compassion, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach to the work and clients’ needs. Works with the Team Leader to advise and consult with the client in making downsizing and sorting decisions that are appropriate for the individual situation. Works to itemize and pack items for transport and unpack them if needed. Adheres to policies and procedures established by management
Essential Functions
Provides an excellent customer experience by performing all responsibilities with care, attention to detail, and efficiency
Properly wraps and unpacks the client’s belongings into and from boxes or containers safely and carefully with the intent to avoid any damage to the client’s property
Examines contents for defects, such as cracked items, loosely sealed containers, or chips, prior to packing
Strategically packs to recreate or replicate the client’s home as closely as possible
Seals, labels, and loads containers for moving with care to avoid damage or breakage
Adheres to and supports the project plan as directed by the team Leader. Always provides consideration and care to the client and the client’s goods while working within the framework of the company’s ethics agreement
Other duties as required
Requirements
Must be a team player and highly punctual
Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
Must have a smartphone and/or computer to check the schedule and work emails daily
Must be in good physical health and be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and stand for 4 – 8 hours during assigned projects

Driving and Managing Company Van
Gas, Service, Oil Changes, Car Wash, etc. (Contacting Operations Manager for Payment of Van Service, when needed)
Inventory on a Grand Level
Organizing Warehouse, Bi-Weekly Inventory, Contacting Office to Maintain Supplies at Warehouse, Meeting Victory Packaging or Other Vendor at Warehouse to Offload Supplies
Review Pick List of Supplies Before Day of Scheduled Job
Responsible for Gathering all Items on Pick List on Morning of Job
Responsibilities for Daily Packing/Unpacking/Organizing and Moving Jobs
Pick Up Van from assigned Parking Space, 1010 Paradise Road, Swampscott, MA
Driving to Warehouse to Load Van Pursuant to Pick List of Daily Job
Arrive at Job at 9:00 a.m. or time posted on Schedule
Setting up Packing Supplies for Team of Packers Pursuant to Team Leader’s Instructions
Join the Packing Team and Pack in Accordance with Assignment for the Day
Working with Team Leader on all heavy items, such as Art, Sculpture, small pieces of Furniture
Supply Box and Material Count to Team Leader at Completion of Job for Invoicing client
Returning to Warehouse to Off Load Van
Van is Returned to Office Parking Lot, at 1010 Paradise Road, Swampscott, MA , at end of each day’s Job; request to park van elsewhere must be obtained from Annmarie, the Owner
